Don’s diverse photographic work has been featured in numerous exhibitions throughout Northeast Ohio, and many of his images have been acquired by major U.S. corporations and hospitals as part of their art collections. His photographs have also appeared in national commercial and journalistic publications.

In 2011, Don’s work was exhibited at the University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood. Two years later, in 2013, his powerful Human Trafficking Exhibit was included in public education programs co-hosted by local and federal law enforcement officials, drawing attention to a critical social issue.

In 2014, Don curated the "Ashtabula County at Work" Photographic Exhibit at the Ashtabula Art Center, highlighting the county’s diverse industrial landscape. That same year, he co-hosted the Cleveland Sense of Place photography exhibition with Cleveland photographer Stuart Pearl at the Beachwood Public Library, where both artists presented their work.

His photograph, Take Off, captured at the Cleveland Air Show, was selected for the 2015 Swiss International Photography Show in Geneva. Since 2021, a permanent installation of his large-scale photographs has been on display at the Auburn Lakes Clubhouse in Auburn Township, offering a sustained glimpse into his evolving artistic vision.

In recent years, Don’s photography has gained further recognition. Two of his portraits were selected for the 2025 Portraiture Show at the Cleveland Photo Fest. In May 2025, another portrait was exhibited at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis, followed by the inclusion of a separate piece in their Shadows Exhibit in June. His work was also chosen for The Photography Center’s Inscrutable Exhibit in Raleigh, North Carolina, in July 2025.
